AFYABORA MASHINANI INITIATIVE
The Afyabora mashinani initiative is a project to reach out
to the rural communities, schools, children homes, churches etc. that do not
have the appropriate facilities and healthcare personnel appropriately
equipped with the knowledge of evidence-based practice and proper skills to
bring about the much-needed health care services, education and advocacy for
best healthcare practices. The project involves sending healthcare
professionals to the rural, remote and marginalized communities to teach and
treat. It entails treatment of musculoskeletal conditions or pain, neurological
and cardiovascular rehabilitation, pain science, general health, nutritional
values and wellbeing, as well as complex trainings to simple strategies that
involve disease prevention policies.
